What does working on projects mean?

In Campus hours, we work on projects in the units. These are themes that all subjects work together on. You start each unit with a new theme in inspiration week. All subject teachers will inspire you this week with information about their subject that fits the theme. Then you will explore and work on your own. You will think critically about what you are going to do and what is needed to make your project the best it can be. Your inspiration teachers and learning coach will check how things are going in the interim and help you where necessary. At the end of a theme we have the party week and the theme is concluded by, for example, a presentation and an evaluation.

A unit is a time when we have a big project with all the subjects in one. This time the theme was discovery, and for that we had to make the HMS Beagle project.

What else did we do?
We made an alebrije for Spanish, which is a kind of fantasy animal as seen in the Mexican movie Coco.

What did we do with the Beagle project?
We all made a presentation and we presented it. That one was about the HMS Beagle & Charles Darwin.

Each group was given a country (island) and for that you all had to collect information for the final product.
